Where to even begin?
1. The point is not dating apps vs real life, but the revealed preferences of anonymity, across a large sample size. It’s far superior to what people publicly say. You can do a Google or YouTube search and there’s plenty of resources.
2. Nor is it whether I “personally” use dating apps or not since my own personal life as one data point has zero bearing whatsoever on large societal trends.
3. Finally, hypergamy does not imply lack of collaboration or adversarial relationships, but rather selection. In other words, given hypergamous selection, relationships can be highly collaborative and non-adversarial.
