I suppose the inequality and Aristocracy these days may be better than before, where a serf’s very life and death were subject to the whims of their lords.

If the system is inevitable, at least those at the bottom have political rights and are protected from the arbitrary exercise of “violent” power of those at top even though they have little economic power.
