Agree. Not necessarily a con for those single childless women who "want" that. They should be supported and not implicitly ostracized if that's their choice. I'd shudder to if an outside force told me how I should live my life. For those who do want that child and can't due to life circumstances, it's a tragedy -- especially since women have far less time to make that choice compared to men.

JD Vance's childless cat lady comments are stupid and represent moralism of the Right I hate, especially since Republicans are suppose to believe in individual liberty.

Some on the Right believe it's a women's duty to bear children, while at the same time don't want to support laws or policies for employers or government to make it easier for the women and their families (including men or not), and require them to face the massive financial burdens of having children.
